The 2016 Cicchitti Blend, produced by Bodega Cicchitti in Mendoza, Argentina, is an emblematic red wine from the winery, reflecting almost five centuries of family tradition in winemaking, inherited from Italian immigrants such as Don Giuseppe Mondati and continued by José A. Cicchitti since 1983.
Tasting notes & pairing
View: intense ruby red color with dark violet or black reflections. Ideal to accompany grilled red meats, lamb, ham, pork, empanadas, pastas with rich sauces or roasted fish. Its structure makes it versatile for robust meals, but its freshness allows it to be enjoyed alone in a contemplative tasting. Serve at 16-18°C to enhance its complexity. Nose: countless aromas of ripe red fruits, expressive and self-conscious from its passage through barrels. Mouth: friendly and robust with sweet tannins, balanced with a velvety finish.
