About Bemberg Estate Wines
The origin of the Bemberg family goes back to the second half of the 16th century and has its roots in a small German city called Langenberg. In that town, Conrad Zum Bimberg - the first family member of which there are records - a great property in which he cultivated his first vineyards, an exciting activity that endured in his blood for centuries. Although the family archives take for granted the beginning of this family with the birth of Conrad Zum Bimberg, many place the true start of the lineage in the first half of the 19th century and highlight the figure of Otto Peter Bemberg as the founder of it. In 1850 Otto emigrated from the old world and embarked to South America, finally establishing himself in Argentina. It was he who laid in our country the bases of the family, remaining faithful to its European origins. Bemberg Estate Wines is a journey that takes place from north to south of Argentina, a country with an exceptional diversity of soils, altitudes and climates due to the presence of the Andes mountain range.
