About Finca La Anita
Founded in 1992, Finca La Anita is a pioneer in the modern wine industry of Argentina focused exclusively on the production of high -end wines. Manuel Mas, chemical engineer by profession and successful businessman, undertook a project at the time in Mendoza: build a small warehouse for the elaboration of high -end wines, in a place that had lost its wine culture of yesteryear. Together with the desire to have something to connect it with Mendoza, where he was born, and thanks to an economic situation that allowed it, he bought a “divine farm in front of the mountain range” in Alto Agrelo, in 1992. Breat it at that time was abandoned; There were no wineries and the big families had started the vineyards in the 1970s and 1980s, when the industry had focused on producing bulk wines. In 2016, the Swiss winemaker Bernard Fontanz of the Les Celliers de Vetroz family in Switzerland, bought Finca La Anita and Manuel Mas is the brand's ambassador.
