Description
The grapes for these varietal wines come from selected vineyards, according to the characteristics and potential of the ideal terroir for each variety. The Lagarde line is made up of six varietals and one rosé wine: Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah, Merlot, Viognier, Chardonnay and a rosé, made with Malbec and Pinot Noir. In 2020, a blend of inks was incorporated for the first time. Thanks to their aging for 8 to 12 months in oak barrels, the reds achieve a delicate balance between fruit and wood. The whites, for their part, stand out for their freshness and liveliness.
Tasting notes & pairing
Light pink to soft, luminous copper color. Aromas of fresh ripe fruits (peach, strawberry, some citrus). Refreshing, lively, balanced in the mouth, with good acidity and persistent finish. Alcohol is usually around 12-13% (lower than reds), and medium-high acidity to make it fresh and easy to drink. It is perfect as an appetizer, with salads, seafood, ceviche, tapas or light dishes. It comes from certified organic vineyards in Luján de Cuyo (Mayor Drummond, etc.).
