Intense red with purple reflections. Bright and lively. Complex and persistent aroma. At first the quality of the wood of the barrel is evident and then you can feel the aromas of red fruits and plums typical of the variety, combined with the smoke of the barrel in a set of great complexity and harmony. Good volume in the mouth with a certain astringency typical of a wine with a great polyphenolic structure. Good sweet-acid-tannic balance. In short, it is a wine with a very high structure, good body, complex, perfect to accompany well-cooked dishes, all types of cheeses and regional foods.
