Description
It expresses the Andean worldview of reciprocity practiced from pre-Hispanic times until today in indigenous communities, based on the fact that "TO RECEIVE, FIRST YOU MUST GIVE." Wines inspired by this ancient form of exchange. Located to the south of Paraje Altamira in the Uco Valley, the Ayni estate vineyards were planted on virgin calcareous soil rich in gravel and native flora at about 1,200 meters above sea level. Mountain wines, complex and with a tertiary character thanks to their aging in German oak barrels.
Tasting notes & pairing
Our Ayni Malbec appears intense in the glass, with a purple-red color and high depth. On the nose it expresses its complex and elegant character reminiscent of black fruit. It enters the mouth vibrantly, its natural acidity is felt, its fruity profile reminiscent of currants mixes with aromas of pure chocolate along with spices and durable persistence. That is why we recommend our Ayni Malbec for those palates that enjoy red wines with high body and complexity, ideal to accompany dishes with character, somewhat fatty and spicy.
